Medical Acupuncture is a modern approach to the traditional, ancient science of acupuncture. It utilizes a more up-to-date knowledge of anat-omy, physiology and patho-physiology. Medical acupuncture is a safe and effective thera-peutic method to encourage natural healing, reduce or relieve pain and improve function. Effective in treating a wide variety of painful musculo-skeletal disorders, headaches and arthritic conditions, it is successfully used as an alternative to medication and even surgery.

Very fine, disposable needles are inserted into specific areas of the body. Research has shown that this causes

physiological changes, including a production of endorphins (the body's natural pain killer). Acupuncture is not a painful procedure.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is an effective, non-surgical treatment which helps rejuvenate the skin and reduce the signs of aging.

The superficial insertion of very thin, disposable needles increases local blood circulation, nourishing the skin and stimulating collagen production. Collagen fills out fine lines and gives firmness to the skin for a healthy, glowing complexion.

Cosmetic acupuncture may help to eliminate fine lines and make deeper facial lines appear softer, particularly around the forehead, eyes and mouth.
